Norsk Epidemiologi (The Norwegian Journal of Epidemiology) is published by the Norwegian Epidemiological Association (NOFE). The journal is usually published twice a year; each issue covers a specific theme and is edited by one or more guest editors. The guest editors invite prospective authors to submit articles within the specific theme, unsolicited articles are generally not accepted. The main aim for the thematic issues is to provide comprehensive scientific overviews of the specific research fields, and of the work going on within these fields in Norway, and partly in other countries. The Board of NOFE approves the themes for the specific issues, and appoints guest editors. All members of NOFE can suggest topics and editors.

Vi minner om at tidsskriftet vårt ‘Norsk Epidemiologi’ (The Norwegian Journal of Epidemiology) ønsker forslag til tema fra våre medlemmer. Tidligere har det kommet forslag om et metodenummer. Dette er et populært tema som treffer mange av våre medlemmer. Dersom noen (en eller flere) kunne tenke seg å være gjesteredaktør for et slikt nummer, eller et temanummer av annen art, kan dere kontakte post@nofe.no.

The Norwegian Journal of Epidemiology welcome suggestions for topics from our NOFE-members. An issue about methods has already been suggested. This is a popular topic that would be of interest to many of our members.
